Sunday 13th APRIL  2pm: Saving the Woods. An introduction to the social history of the woodlands with Mel Wright and Andrea Stevens. How it was saved and conserved for future generations. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road underpass.BR51NZ

Tuesday 6th MAY 6.30am: Dawn Chorus Peter Smart of the RSPB Bromley Local Group leads us quietly through the woodland to hear early morning, spring bird song and identify what they are (no dogs please). Bring binoculars if you can. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road underpass BR5 1NZ

Monday 23rd JUNE 11am: Insects. Hover flies, beetles, moths, dragon flies and more we hope! Local naturalist John Pelter will guide us. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road underpass. BR5 1NZ

Saturday 12th JULY 11am: Wildflowers and Plants. Guided by John Bruce, exploring plants, wildflowers and weeds that grow in the woods and meadows. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road. underpass. BR5 1NZ

Friday 8th AUGUST 10am: Woodland Ponds. Guided by Chris Wells – leader of the Hawkwood volunteer team working at Flushers Pond and Pond Wood.  Meet at St Mary’s Church, corner of Hawkwood and Crown Lanes.BR7 5PL

Tuesday 19th AUGUST 10am:  St. Paul's Cray Common (part of Chislehurst Commons) – bordering National Trust woods we explore the Commons intriguing history, unique terrain and rich habitat including reptiles guided by Kevin Jennings and Mary Wheeler. Meet at National Trust Keepers Cottage – woodland gate. BR5 1NZ

Monday 1st SEPTEMBER 10am: Autumn Trees. National Trust Petts Woods Area Ranger, Luke Underwood guides us through the woods by helping us identify the trees that make up the 350 acres of woodland. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road underpass. BR5 1NZ

Monday 27th OCTOBER 11am: Fungi: Local naturalist John Pelter leads us through the woodland to discover and observe a range of fungi specimens. Meet at Woods entrance through Hazelmere Road underpass. BR5 1NZ
